Beautiful Horizon

The cinematic sunset
Seemed lonelier today
The amber hue radiated
A beautiful horizon on display

The sparkles in the ocean
Didn’t shine like yesterday
It was like a sky without stars
And I’ve slowly lost my way

But I think of how the colors
Of the fiery evening sky
Reflects so perfectly
Against the color of his eyes

There exists the sparkles
The ones that were lost at sea
A real-life work of art he is
A beautiful horizon that I see 

I placed a message in a bottle
I watched it slowly float away
May it be a reminder to him
That everything will be okay
