I CAN (definitely) HAS JOB!

Incidentally, I have seen the Guillermo del Toro Frankenstein film.  It’s magnificent.  Jacob Elordi is the stand out as the Creature, it wouldn’t surprise me if he gets an Oscar nomination out of it.  It’s also great to have a film version that has an intellegent Creature.

So, I went out to my new workplace with my paperwork.  As predicted, it was a 3 hour round trip for the sake of 15 minutes.  But I did get to have a bit of a wander round the Metrocentre before coming back.  I waqs then asked to submit proof of my benefits.  After a call, where I was on hold for about an hour for a five minute conversation, they sent me what I needed and I scanned and emailed it.

Today I got the email confirming that I have the job and I start on the 24th.

Next up is an appointment at the job centre to get the money for my rail pass.

I’m supposed to be going to a Beans on Toast gig Tuesday next week, but I don’t have the cash.
