Margaritas please…
I’d really love one right now. That sounds good right about now, haha so does a strawberry mango daiquiri. Maybe once I’m settled a lil more, I can get some of those drinks lol. I haven’t had much to do other than school work and housework (which I need to work on after this entry lol). No money means entertaining myself at home. Thank God for music and TV lol.
So I was going to start my computer class (online class) today. I know that due to this COVID-19 thing, many were moving classes to online after this extended “spring break”, but my class was already online prior to this. I thought I’d at least have access to it so I could do the enrollment verification. I guess this class is being pushed back until after the spring break. Oh fun! Well whatever, I just hope I can get things done in a timely manner in this semester, and I need to see what (if any) books I may need for this class. Also, it pushes back when the refund would be received. BUH, but yeah I can use this extra time to work on a project I have been putting off that’s due the 25th. I have to, so I that I can do the PowerPoint for it that is to be in the damn video presentation that I’ll have to make lol. I just hope after all this, I pass. It’s been a struggle haha.
And….in one week I will be back to working. I start my new temp job next Monday. I have been getting emails from the company I’m going to be working at, with updates on my access to the programs needed to do the job. I got some code that I am to use when I first get there, so I can get started. I need to email the temp agency to ask about the pay period. I’m not sure if they are doing every week or every two (which I assume their client pays biweekly anyway) but since I am going thru the temp agency I dunno. I’ll email them after I’m done here. I have done all the paperwork and documents to get started, now I just wait. I pray that at the end of all this I get hired. That’s what I want, although if they just choose to extended it (for as long as they want lol) I’ll take it cause it’s still a paying job. I’d just rather be hired and avoid the temp thing so I can actually get benefits. So I am going to do my best to grasp and do this job and show them I can handle it, and that it’d be good for them to hire me permanently. I have been trying to get in for so long, so I am glad to have this foot in the door. What’s funny is I keep getting emails from folks in diff temp agencies offering the same position. Some are for a dollar more than what my current one is gonna pay, but it’s the same exact one. Well it’s good to know that more than a few feel I am a good fit. Now to show them what I can do.
So i finally see a date to when I’ll get my tax refund. So I’m hoping it comes in time for me to avoid a late fee, but either way I’m going to use most of it to get caught up on my bills. I have 1 card with past due amounts, so that’s my top priority along with my cell phone. I owe for two months on my cell, but I’m just gonna do the one due last month (for now), since I have an extension for the one due this month, that should put me past my first paycheck. The one due last month, had been extended to the end of this month. I feel like I am finally almost out of this hole. It sucks that most of my tax money has to go to bills, but it’ll be easier on me once I start working. I won’t have to play major catch up or deal with more expenses due to being late. So with all my credit cards I’m gonna do what they call the “snowball method” of paying down the cards. it’ll be fairly easy since the smaller two are nothing compared to the big ass balance on my oldest credit card. As of yet, all of my bank accounts are in the negative. I can’t wait to get that back in order too. I’m also very much looking forward to getting out of the house. I spent hours with nothing to do and no one to talk to and it sucks. Yes I’m a bit of an introvert, but I do like human interaction lol. The dog listens, but what can he do, lol.
