dream again
flutter light ye bird in flight
cast shadow neath a tree in light
perch amidst the naked limbs
wind brings flight to skies again
oh to see such soaring sight
to sail so high til day turns night
free from toil and task below
not to till and not to sow
wakes from but another dream
pain of life the living theme
bird flies by the window pane
reminds me soon to dream again
