ALWAYS CONFUSING AND COMPLICATING-ok

I always find making plans with people very complicating and frustrating.  Then when I ask my hubby’s opinion he says just forget the whole thing but I don’t want to.

I spoke to my friend in Ottawa. The date I chose to go see WICKED is fine with her and she doesn’t care about the price. She said my friend and I can stay over at her home. She has two separate rooms for us.

The next friend said the date is ok and she can stay overnight with her daughter.

The third one said the date is fine but she doesn’t want to sleep at my friends. I guess I don’t blame her as she doesn’t know her! She said I can just forget about her and she would be fine with it. But can I? Is that right?

So we have two choices: one is to drive back the same day or share a motel room.

I think we will just drive home the same day. The play finishes about five so we could be home at dark. I worry about getting caught driving in fog.

So tomorrow I will reserve seats and that’s that.

Time for a bath. Tonight we are going for supper to celebrate my friend’s 78th birthday!

I say, if the one friend doesn’t want to stay where you will be staying and says to just forget about her, then it is FINE to do so. I’m sure she will be invited along on the next outing. She shouldn’t be so picky about where she stays. She might not know your friend you’re staying with, but she does know YOU, and what’s so bad about making a new friend?? hugs, Weesprite

Yeah, as soon as you get more than two people involved it always gets complicated.
