The girl I used to be

This girl who taught herself English in 2nd grade because she hated not understanding her English teacher. This girl who taught herself how to do a front handspring because she saw a girl doing it and thought it was cool. This girl who kept trying and trying gymnastics moves until she got them no matter how many times she failed. This girl who once decided to become a straight A student because she felt like it. It felt impossible didn’t it?

I’m going to bring back this girl. Her level of passion and dedication was lost throughout the years. To what? For what? I’m worthy of being happy just like she was, and so, I’m bringing her back.
