Daughtry should have won his American Idol Season. I had tickets to go and see his concert when he came to Cape Town in 2010. But his show was just a few days after my mother passed away. Besides not feeling the ability to really enjoy the show I was sitting Shiva, so I had to sell the tickets. Still to this day I hope I will get the chance to watch him live.
Shiva is derived from the word sheva, which means seven, signifying the seven days of mourning. It is a time referred to as – “sitting shiva” and its primary purpose is to provide a time for spiritual and emotional healing, where mourners join together. A person sits shiva for a parent, spouse, sibling or child.
I just love this song. I bought Idan Raichel’s CD with this song on it and my father stole the cd from me. Well suppose it doesn’t batter now that everything is all about Spotify so I can hear this song whenever I want.

Up until about the 3rd season I was so addicted to Empire. I used to like Jessie Smollett until he lied about being attacked by homophobes.
I could listen to any Eminem song on repeat and never get bored of it. To me Eminem will be the greatest rapper. I think I would steal just to be able to get a ticket to see him live. I would even suffer standing in the Golden Circle…last time I stood in a Golden Circle was when Lady Gaga came to Cape Town, round about in 2012. Okay I wouldn’t stand in the Golden Circle, but I would def go to his show!!
I could list so many more songs that I love and am always listening too.
