Scotland.

Finally got my photos of Scotland sorted and ready to post, if OD lets me. We did a 3 day round trip tour from Edinburgh, visiting Glencoe, Trossachs, Loch Lomond, Fort William and Skye. A great tour and no rain.

Took the Jacobite train (also known as Harry Potter Train) from Mallaig to Fort William, which was an experience, as we hadn’t been in a steam train for years. Just listening to the sound of the whistle was wonderful.

This was suppposedly Queen Victoria’s favourite swimming spot, but somehow I can’t see her climbing down there.

Great pics! So much fun to see that part of the world. 🙂 RYN: it was a lovely stay. We enjoyed it very much.

What a beautiful place to visit. Maybe the queen was much younger when she swam there?

You were so lucky with the weather.

Our next trip will either be Scotland or New Zealand. These photos are amazing! Thank you!

RYN: I’ll bookmark you in case you decide to go, too. It’s hard to change over. Re: shunning: I think it is a terrible thing to do, but it is effective. There is a place set at the table at every meal for the shunned person, so it isn’t like they are forgotten, but it seems harsh.

You did well with the camera, lovely photos and video. Have a good time in Perth. I’ve never been either but it’s on my ‘may do’ list.
