What do you want from me

I try oh I try

Is there a secret home for me

Where I can watch this hell go by

You once said to me I had a place

Way up with the angels in divine space

What now do you want from me

Somewhere somehow

What do you see in me

A wreck or potential

Do you claim responsibility

For this life’s disasters?

Will you come and save me when I sink so low

All you have to do is believe that’s all you have to know

So what do you want from me when I try and I try

I can’t shake the stagnancy. I am lost. So broken.

I once had boundless energy

And a mind so brilliant

But defeat is all I know now

And how this day is spent
