Blogathon # 18: Robot Chicken…

Recently in the last few months, one show that I have gotten into big time is Robot Chicken. It’s a sketch show filmed with toys, co-created by Seth Green and it’s off the charts hilarous! The show makes fun of a lot of stuff that mostly comes from the 80’s and 90’s … and is in my mind one of the funniest shows on TV right now. Here is a very, very popular skit from the show. It’s a Star Wars clip… the Emperor getting a call from Darth Vader who has bad news: The Death Star has been destroyed. Check it out.
Funny thing is George Lucas saw this skit and loved it so much he invited Green and the other guys who made the show to Skywalker ranch. With Lucas’ blessing, Robot Chicken recetly released a full 30 minute episode last month, dedicated solely to Star Wars. Here’s a clip from that episode: Darth Vader meets his match…
Man, I love this show. Chances are when I’m stuck for something I’ll post more clips for shits and giggles.

There was a British show called The Adam and Joe Show maybe 10 years back and they also did that kinda thing with stuffed toys or Star Wars figures
