One person who has been leaving notes for a while asked a few questions concerning why I’m here tonight. 1. Is this your first blogathon?

Nope. This is actually my third straight Blogathon. My first was in 2005, when I raised over $250 for Amnesty International. Last summer, I blogged for the Hospital for Sick Children. That year the Blogathon site has some major problems and I only raised around $180. Not much, but not nothing either. This year I’m doing much better…

2. Why are you participating in blogathon 2007?

I loved participating in the previous two events, and I did raise money for a good cause. Put those two together and what more reason do I need?

3. What charity are you blogging for?

I’m blogging for ‘The Greyhound Protection’ League…

4. Why did you pick that charity?

I love dogs, and I enjoyed the last greyhound charity event I took part in. I also am an advid reader of a diary by Falling Dog. I admire the work she’s done with Greyhounds, and decided to do this one for her and the great work she’s done for her hounds. I asked her for a specific charity to sponsor, and this is the one that made the grade concerning the site’s specific rules. So here we are, blogging for the dogs! 🙂

5. What other charities did you consider before making a final decision?

This year I was all for blogging for Greyhounds this year, the only problem I had was which greyhound charity to support.

6. How much money have you raised so far?

Last time I checked was 40 minutes ago, and I’m up to $340

7. What has kept you going this long?

Can you say no to this face?

Neither can I…

8. Will you be participating in the blogathon next year?

Chances are good, as long as everything is all right and I’m doing all right health wise… I will be back again.
