Paulaner Hefeweizen (finest beer in the universe)

O.k. we’ve been debating this for months, I’m here to set the record strength. Let the court records show that I submit myself as an expert in drinking beer.

Here is my beer drinking resume…

I have drank many beers, too countless to number from Little Kings Cream Ale to Evil Eye Malt Liquor (OJO MALO!), to Hamms.

I have attended the World Beer Festival in Denver Colorado on numerous occasions, most years at which I would drink the fancy beers and compare them but one year my friend Dan and I gave up trying to be sophisticated and drank all the Malt Liquors and boosted alcohol drinks we could find (see note above about Evil Eye).

I have completed the World Beer Tour sponsored by the restaurant chain Old Chicago during which you have to drink over 100 beers and check them off on a list (note to self, never, NEVER drink Fischer Labelle Strabourge ((SP)) again, I mean, are the French really known for their beers? OH HELL NO!!!) My name is now officially on a plaque in a bar somewhere in the world as a testament to my completing this daunting task, (it took about six months).

I used to brew beer but waiting for a month to drink was just too damn maddening and I would sample the WORT (see how I use the fancy brewing treminology) thinking it was drinkable. I gave up.

Finally, I have worked part time in a brewery.

After realizing that I may be the worlds expert in beer drinking, (all of you professional brewers stay out of this) I submit to you the following…

Paulaner Hefeweizen is the finest beer known in the universe.

Enough said, drink it… compare it to whatever other crap you may be drinking, send me some when you agree, drink Coors Light from the 7-11 when that runs out but always, always go back to the Paulaner Hefeweizen.

Now I may be betraying my Czech heritage because lets face it, short of the Germans, Czechs make and invented the drink we now know as beer. But show me a Czech beer that compares and I’m there.  (Mofocat stay out of this,,, Italians NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, make good beer but if you must and you’re in an Italian restaurant drink Moretti) and as for the Czech beers Czechvar is pretty good. Of course when in Austria we all know we should be drinking Stiegl (if Paulaner is not available).

There I’ve insulted about every nationality (except of course the Germans out there but lets give it to them folks ’cause they dont make anything else well,,, o.k. cars, but thats it. alright perhaps the good watch or two.)

Lighten up FOLKS! It’s almost friday. We made it through another week as the slaves to the dollar that we are, grinding out an existence in meaningless jobs going nowhere for money we cant even keep when we die.

I leave you with a quote from a famous Polka Song…

"In heaven there is no beer, thats why we drink it here."
