Honor Flight – Inaugural Flight

In the morning I am leaving to drive up to Portland. Honor Flight of Oregon will be leaving on Thursday morning for our inaugural flight. We are escorting 24 WW II Veterans to Washington D.C. to see the memorials dedicated to their service.

I will try to do quick up-dates while on the trip; not sure if I will be able to get into the hotel’s computer lounge or how tired I will be.

This will be a great trip!!!

And again, thank you to everyone who wrote letters for the Mail Call – those will be delivers in person on this flight 🙂
