NaJoMo – 18

Pain. I am fucking sick and tired of pain. I can’t sit up straight. I can’t walk. I spent a good portion of my prep this morning trying not to throw up because I hurt so damn much. Basic pain killers aren’t working anymore. And I’m worried work the last two days might have caused all the doctor did last week to just not even count.

I’m having a hard time focusing on anything outside of how much it hurts to exist at this point.

On the plus side, my freshmen class took lecture notes on Joseph Campbell’s stages of the heroic quest – and they understood it.
