Another Day

When your eyes burn for the tears that won’t come,

When the sun shines bright but you feel so glum,

When the world outside you just spins around,

But you can’t help but to carry a frown.

Life just rolls by and continues its song,

All you need to do is learn to hold on,

Learn to scream and let it all out,

Learn to spin free of this self made hell.

Not wanting but becoming the black hole of your heart,

Knowing you shouldn’t be here, but not knowing how to depart.

When the thoughts of freedom

are so close but so far,

One day you may just fall apart.

But, until that day, miles away,

You’ll struggle to live through another day.
