so, we went to my doc’s (and sawyer and beau’s) walk-in clinic last night. NO wait. beau’s throat was red and he has a bad cough so he got amoxicillan. i’m not sure what he said about how his chest sounded but ears were fine. i got macrobid (20 days worth) b/c i have another bladder infection. thank goodness b/c it ruined my weekend. let’s take care of this thing…for this month anyway. i am not ready to wean beau (and neither is he) so i’m not going on meds for my bladder yet. i don’t want to fuck around with bottles just yet. i’d like to skip them completely. beau prefers a cup anyway so that’s very likely to happen.

we went to Canadian Tire to take back our crappy baby monitor (which i gave a bad review on the site i work for) and got the updated version of the same one. we saved money taking it back b/c dennis used his CT money to buy the new one. he couldn’t last time b/c there was a hacker problem and his card was cancelled. (this hacker/credit card stealing/bank card # stealing thing is getting out of hand. what a dishonest world we live in. get jobs, you lazy stinking criminals!!!) i hope this one works. sheesh. so far, it seems better. beau was in his crib for a few hours last night and there was no static and it’s much easier to turn on/off. the other one was impossible and retarded. crappy design.

after that, i went in the dollar store. my bladder is a mess (there’s no public bathroom there) and sawyer was in his undies (no accidents the whole trip!!) so i didn’t want to take too long (20 min. drive home and it was cold out–i didn’t want him to have to pee outside in that.) i didn’t really look around but got what we needed like batteries & headphones for dennis (and another pair of "B" socks for Beau) and got outta there. i went in to find cool patches to sew on sawyer’s undies b/c he will only wear his Cars undies and we have other ones that fit him better that he’s not interested in wearing but i didn’t find anything. i looked at their undies and they had Diego ones but only in 6x and up for boys. in the girls undies, they had 4 and up!! wtf? sawyer is a 4 and he’s potty training. what do they think? boys don’t wear undies until they’re 6? argh.

*sorry for the confusion: i was talking that dollar store only about the boys undie sizes. we got his other ones (Cars and his plain ones) from wal-mart in smaller sizes and i was hoping to get some fun patches to sew on (well, for dennis to sew on) to his plain undies. i think his plain ones are super cute (one has skateboarder guys in camo print and the others are cute blue and green colours) but he isn’t into them.

i’m pretty proud of him. and beau is doing better this week. so far, so good. haha it’s only monday though. beau’s been napping since 1 and it’s 3:15 now. pretty good nap though. i wish i could just lay him down like dennis does and he would go to sleep but i have to nurse him and then put him down and he will go to sleep. otherwise,he screams at me. for dennis, he fusses a bit and goes off to sleep. wtf? no fair!! he goes to sleep in the car or buggy though, which is nice, b/c i go out on tuesdays and thursdays usually and it’s easier if he’s asleep.

dennis and i are having some troubles. nothing serious but we need to get back on track with each other. a bit of arguing, a bit of sadness. nothing that’s going to break us up but still tough. he has an MMA fight in april. *eep* his trainer, who i was just chatting with, thinks he’s really great on the floor so it should go well. i hope. i really really hope.

so far, i’m doing pretty well with not breaking my Lent promise. yay me! LOL.
