i had a girl over today who i know but not really well. her kids are close to my kids’ ages. no odd pauses in conversation. nothing like that. it was great. 🙂 i love having someone to talk to who has similar parenting style to mine etc. the kids played pretty well together too. yay!! i hope to do it again soon. the only prob is she’s a morning person and i’m an afternoon person and the kids’ nap schedules don’t mesh. we’ll have to figure it out.

i work tonight and then tomorrow, i’m off to michigan for the fights. dennis is cornering so i guess i’ll be hanging with some of the other club wives/sisters. we’ll be doing dinner so that’ll be nice. hang out with girls and chat 2 days in a row? 😀

beau did NOT sleep well AGAIN last night. 🙁 i don’t know what the issue is. i’m going to lay off giving him cheese for a few days. maybe it’s bunging him up (though he pooped 2 or 3 times yesterday) or giving him gas or something. or he’s teething again. he’s a terrible teether. the 2 that just came in/are almost in are crooked, exactly like my 2, so maybe it was rough going.

i hope he gets over it soon. tuesday, when he slept well, it was SUCH a nice break. PLUS when he woke up, we were umm right in the middle of starting something. gee, thanks, beau. maybe tomorrow night when we get home. 😉

we did a lot of grappling last night and i was tired (PMS and no sleep) so class wasn’t great for me but oh well. it’s something. it’s a yucky rainy day today but hopefully work goes well and it’s not raining when i walk over to the restaurant.
