ugh
waited well over an hour in ambulatory care today. my doctor FORGOT about me. dennis’s head was about to explode when he found out (he was waiting in the car with beau-he went to the store after dropping me off but parked at the hospital and waited after that.) he is SO busy at work right now, it’s ridiculous. he didn’t have time to wait around for 2 hours. a wonderful nurse named joanne (who, believe or not, has done this before for me-with a dietician who forgot about me) tracked him down and he did it at his office. so, now i have my shot in my heel and let’s hope that takes care of my heel spur. i was able to talk him into giving me a month of macrobid b/c my stupid urine sample came back neg. that happens to me all the time and i KNOW when i have an infection. it was prob just too soon to tell, though when the hurse did the dip, it showed up so wtf? why is the lab test always neg.????? argh. anyway, talked him into that so i should be feeling better soon from the infection that won’t go away.
a cute pic of beau BEFORE he had a giant poop and i changed him to another cute outfit. dennis didn’t like the hat but screw him. beau looks cute. i’m on my own til about 9 or 10 p.m. b/c dennis is going straight to adrenaline in london to train after work. argh. so good thing i made supper last night (go me-dennis was stressed at work so i had supper all ready for him when he got home) and there are leftovers.
now that my foot is frozen and i can walk, i think beau and i will go up to the restaurant. hopefully he falls asleep and i can enjoy some time alone.

I’ve been forgotten in the ER before! They put me in a room off to the side that they seldom use unless they are swamped. Jon was in the waiting room doing the insurance paperwork and kept asking when he could go back with me…he waited 2 hours! The only reason they didn’t bring him was because they were trying to figure out who and where *I* was. I thought he was going to hurt someone…lol

ryn: Yes, my dr office had the records, I had to make a list of the years I wanted, and they wrote them all down for me…then I had to figure out if there was a catalyst to the gain/loss…marriage, divorce, baby, all of the above…lol

RE: LOL yes it IS painful. Really painful. I actually started crying after they were done. It felt like a needle was jabbing into my insides. Oyyyy never again! You are majorly lucky to have a high pain tolerance. But then again, just because it hurt me really bad, that doesn’t mean that it doesn’t hurt. Because every person is different. You might have an unusually high tolerance, more so than normal. I think it just depends person to person. Like .. I can’t even wear a tampon. It hurts me way too bad to put one in. And I have to get 3 shots of novacane at the dentist because the first two are never enough. One time I even had 4 shots of it because I kept hurting! So yeah.. that’s why I beg for them to put me to sleep if they are going to do anything painful.

Wow. It sucks when doctors forget about you. You’d think they could keep track of their patients better than this! OUCH. Heel spurs sound really painful. I think I have had one before. You can barely even touch your foot to the floor because of the pain. I hope that shot helps your foot.

P.S. They DID use local anestethic. That gel stuff that’s like Anbesol. But like I said, that stuff doesn’t work on me because my body doesn’t doesn’t respond to painkillers like that. I even told them when they started that it didn’t feel numb at all after they put the gel in there. But sigh… they didn’t listen because apparently I am a mystery to doctors. :- No, they don’t know what’s wrong with my bladder. He said it looked perfectly normal. :-O They are going to keep trying me on different meds to see if any work. He said I may just have to live with it. 🙁 They have me on something that starts with an E now. Not Enablex though.. it’s a pill you take 3 times a day. I’ll tell you later (too lasy to look now lol).
