Now do you think, that, you could ALSO add, among those changes…the format in which, you also used to have the colors in Diary Maintenance, back to the one’s with the names, listing the colors, and their names? ‘Cause, I really miss that old format of it! Some years ago, I combined two diaries into one. At the time, I thought that all of the entries from the other diary got stuck in as new entries and so they were out of date order. I can’t seem to find them now to fix them. Could your new code have automatically put them in the right place?

I seem to be able to do everything else at OD today, but when I try to save a new entry, I get kicked out into screen about not connecting, and suggesting there might be maintenance going on at the site.

thats awesome! I just wish it would have been around years ago when I imported all of my old entries (pre OD days) and I was being anal about wanting everything in the right order so I deleted a bunch of entries and resaved them in the right order. I lost a bunch of entries that way (mostly my fault, but I think also some of them were lost because of the Great Hack Attack). lol I love it anyway! Thanks!

Woot! Now I can solve my problem of duplicate entries! Way back when I ported my diary to OD+ I accidently did it twice and it was quite the mess. But no more! I can clearly see which ones are duplicates!

I wrote something to you similar to this on Facebook but it bares repeating. I used to have a TOD but switched over before the import feature was ever implemented so I just manually transferred all of my entries (and there were many). I was always bothered that they were never in chronological order (I think I’m borderline OCD) and now they will be!!! Thanks x 1,000,000!

Does this work for previously added backdated entries? Let’s say I added something for 2003 but I did it when the backdating wasn’t working… Will it be properly ordered now?

Chances of you seeing this is probably a million to none with all the comments people leave. But do you think you could write an entry on your thoughts of the MDD crash. I too am a survivor. How many people have flooded your site since the crash? What are the chances of this site crashing? Is it owned by another site? overall…ARE WE SAFE?

Anyway, I think I just scared my husband who was sitting next to me when I logged in and saw the news on the front page. I was very vocal in my appreciation 🙂 Yay, now all the entries I retyped after the hacker attack a few years ago (also on a 9/11 although I have no idea ifthat was meant to be a purposeful coincidence) actually appear in their right space. Re: the box…I don’t know what to say either 🙁 But I’m glad you marked it.

Is your site going under maintence? I can’t post any new entries!!!

In the last hacker attack, the password for my second diary: http://www.opendiary.com/entrylist.asp?authorcode=A933709 was reset and I never received an update. I need help solving this problem. I’ve been trying to get in touch, but have received NO responses. I want this resolved so I can start using it Thank you. (Also sent two ‘help’ emails [& 2 notes] from two different email addys.)

I’m excited to see some features that I remember from WAY back (like 2000) when I had my original OD returning. Also as a person whom has entries saved from JournalCommunity I can’t wait for the import feature. I’m very excited and do hope my dial up can handle importing the entries when it’s available! 🙂

I know you get a giant pile of comments, and please don’t think I’m complaining as I’m not….but I wondered if it would ever be possible to receive email notices of our friends’ notes and adding us to their bookmark lists? That was a real treat in our old diary…but please don’t think I’m complaining. I’m just sharing what was a great benefit to many….thanks for everything, Michael.

Thank you for this facility. I am an OD member to keep in touch with my daughter and son-in-law who met here. I use my diary more as a travel diary. So entries aren’t always written in sequence. Today i had almost finished an entry when i lost the internet connection. Thank you, thank you for the autosave function. Most of the entry was waiting for me when i logged back in.

HI, I don’t know if you remember .. there used to be a diary jointly run by a group of women who were following the Julia Cameron Book ‘an artist’s journey’ or somethign like that. They did weekly ‘art adventures .. I think one diarist was Mapgpie something, don’t remember the others .. do you know which diary I mean? This was in about 1999 – 2000??? If so, is it still extant?
