TGIF

It’s been a really long week. Between work and trying to make my apartment look like the cover a of a magazine, I’m freaking pooped … and there is no slowing down in sight.

I set up my new tree … and at first I HATED it. I was like what the eff is this garbage! But as I put it together, it grew on me. I like how full it looked. Better than previous trees. I haven’t gotten any ornaments or ribbon or anything on it yet … but I have it up. I got all the boxes out of the hallway closet and they are now stacked in the living room. I put up a few decorations, like the giant Santa Advent calendar, some fridge magnets, the gingerbread man soap dispenser and I put some wrapping paper on my cork board by the front door where we hang our keys.

I feel like it’s a little too early to hang the clocks that chime Christmas music, and I was too tired to put up everything else. That’s what tomorrow is for. Saturday is going to be the day to get everything in the house done.

Tonight I am going grocery shopping with grandma right after work, going to get everything I can for thanksgiving. Maybe Target and the dollar store too.  She’s giving me her good china. Then on Sunday I am running up to the casino with mom because they are giving away free pot & pan sets. After that we are going to Joann Fabrics.

Been another busy morning and all of a sudden it’s 3PM so I have to start wrapping things up.
