Christmas & New Year

Okay, sorry for being lazy. I have not updated, nor read any of your diaries in a while.

I’ll try and recap the last 4-5 weeks.

Christmas was wonderful. I took 3.5 weeks off work and went and stayed with my parents. I love where they live because it’s in the middle of a national park, with no one (not a lot of people anyway) for a long, long way. The lake is down the road and there are a few beaches and good fishing spots within walking distance. Peace and quiet, lots of it, which is what I needed.
Anyways, I enjoyed it, even if it wasn’t long enough.

My brother came down for a week a couple days after I returned. He spent some time in Tasmania then flew over here. Slept on the couch. Clothes shopping and the casino were his targets. Although we went to the Werribee Open Range Zoo and went on a personalized tour, which involved getting far to comfy to a Rhino, I don’t care how docile you say they are, I don’t want one with a 4′ horn swinging even casually in my directions.
He is well otherwise.

I bought a new computer (cause the last one finally died). An Asus G74Sx, 17” HD 3D display with 3GB graphics and 16GB ram are a few of the specs. I’ve started playing games again, cause the old rust bucket of a computer I had was still on P4 specs *snort*.

Robbi and I are still seeing each other. Nothing is official, other than we enjoy each other’s company. We spent the long weekend in the city. Went to a French restaurant on Saturday night, I’m not sure if it was Vue de Monde, or Bistro Vue, either way the food was divine and worth the $300+ price tag.
Movies, casino, shopping, sex. It was a lovely time.

I dropped and smashed into a million pieces my new phone before xmas. I only got it back today after having sent it away for repairs. It would seem that this insurance is the only insurance that has worked for me in the history of insurances. The phone seems to be working great.

I’ve quit smoking and am not looking back. My motivation is; my mother. If she can do it, then so can I! My mother quit, which shocked me as she was a chain smoker, there isn’t a time in my life that I don’t remember my mother having a cigarette in her hand. But when I was there for the 3 weeks over xmas, not once did she pick one up.
So that is my motivation, my mother. Just don’t be telling her that.

Gary is supposed to be moving to Melbourne. There is no particular time table of events for this to happen other than waiting for Bruce to get back from OS so that Gary and organize with him when and how and what he can get out of him to get his stuff down here.
I will be moving in with him. I can no longer live with Jamie, he is making me angry. Very, very angry.

A KITTEH! Brenden and I were on an evening walk and we found a wee little kitteh hidden under a car, it took a lot of coaxing but we finally got a hold of her and took her home. We gave her some dinner and lots of pats… she didn’t want much of anything to do with us, but Chompers (the dog) and her hit it off straight away and they are now the best of friends.
Violet (or puss) has since come around and will actively seek me or Brenden or Jamie out for a lap to sit on and reward us with plenty of purrs when we pat and scratch her.

With my giving up smoking campaign I’m getting into shape, other than reading the Body for life, by Bill Phillips book, there isn’t much more to report there.
I’ll keep you notified.

Shane and I went to see NakeD Boys Singing last night, at the GasWorks Theatre. It.was.awful. Terrible, terrible terrible. not even nudity could save it, very disappointed. I would avoid it if you could! I did however run into Beau (for those that have followed me for years should know who that is) and his husband! I have not seen them in about, oh, 2 years. They are both well.

I’m pretty sure that is it for the most part.
