Unfortunately, it doesn’t work that way around here. People still have “name brand” vs. cheap uniform shirts, kids still get picked on about their shoes, and especially in later years (high school) kids get picked on if they’re not accessorizing their uniforms the “right way”. It stifles individuality and only makes the focus more narrowed on little faults such as the way a kid’s hair looks or other superficial things that a child has zero control over. I don’t agree with public school uniforms because it’s only made the situation worse and is a pain for the parents to have to buy a bunch of clothes that their kids otherwise won’t wear. :
