The Silence of the Lamb Chops

Since I’m home all the time now, I’ve decided to use the time home to do things I’ve had little or no time to do when I was working. One thing I’ve had a lot of fun doing is my writing. I have a few more scripts that are in development and plan to actually finish drafts of them by the end of this paternal leave. They all have great a premise to work off of and the words are just flowing out of me right now. I’m eager to get more done, but I usually have an hour or two every night after the boys go to bed. I’ve enjoyed the chance to do this again, but need to do as much as I can before the break I’m on ends sooner than later.

Another thing I’ve been doing is try a lot more is make some cool stuff in the kitchen. I enjoyed trying my hand as some interesting cooking with the crock pot and other recipies, so with time on my hands… I’ve been having a lot of fun in the kitchen, and here are a few photos of a meal that I made for Ethan last week:

(This was something I never tried yet, Lamb chops grilled on my foreman grill…)

(As you can see here, they turned out rather well… sided with mashed potatoes and green beans)

(This is what Ethan’s chops looked like after I cut the meat up for him…)

(Here is my little guy digging into his meal…)

(As you can see, my little trooper loved it quite a bit, especially the potatoes.)

(And what would dinner be without a little dessert: A double pudding treat…)

(Another pic of Ethan digging in, and don’t worry… I ate half of this with him.)

This meal was a lot of fun, and I’m glad Ethan enjoyed eating it too. I was a shame I couldn’t serve this up with some fava beans and a nice Chianti. I love trying new stuff and I actually picked up some other stuff and it should be fun to see if Ethan will give it a try. Here’s hoping eveyrone is having a good Sunday…

At least Miami’s punter is better than Buffalo’s. Other than that, we suck. You’re gonna have to send me your address to claim your ten kroner.

That dessert looks so good, I’m going to have to go in search of dessert myself now!

That just made me hungry!! Ethan is such a little cutie!!

actually liver is better with that wine and side *sluuuuuurrrppppp* 😉 I would be more wary about lamp chops on the foreman grill, especially since you didn’t make the outside darker. Looking at Ethan’s plate though, I see you got them well done. Well done!

It’s none of my business, but why is Ethan still using a “binky”? I abhor those things.

Peter: I believe I have expressed my own thoughts about the topic in a previous entry. And I’ve given bits and pieces in my comments on other ppl’s essays. The summary: I don’t think much of the theories at all. Nor do I think much about them. I think it’s obscenely implausible to suggest that hundreds or thousands of people in the federal government could engage in a massive conspiracy to murder

September 18, 2006

thousands of Americans and cause massive economic devastation to America’s economic capital and that NOT A SINGLE PERSON would have any qualms, not a single person would leak a tidbit… to the media, to blogs, to their spouse. What I’ve seen in these 9/11 conspiracy “proofs” isn’t anything resembling proof at all. It’s a series of coincidences and questions that people who already loathe Bush

put together and say it constitutes proof, because their hatred of Bush lowers their intellectual rigor. As you know, I loathe Bush too but to me, the truth is more important. Am I certain that there was no conspiracy? No. It’s certainly possible. But I’d need to see overwhelming evidence, not a series of random coincidences, in order to even contemplate changing my mind.

Good luck with your writing, I’m gonna be spending alot of time this week writing scripts too.
