Still more food for thought
Evidently, if I am to believe something someone has told me, there are people who enjoy discussing me. Evidently, the discussions are ugly, as this someone has told me that it is being reported to the Diary Master.
I have not asked who. I make mistakes, and can be an absolute idiot about some things at some times, but there are no masochistic tendencies in me that make me really want to read offensive things about myself. Also, I have seen from the experiences of some people I call friends of mine how disruptive this can be to one’s peace of mind. I work hard to attain peace of mind. I don’t really want to allow some people who don’t know me, and who I don’t know, to disrupt it for me.
This is of course more reason to consider making this diary favorites only. It would save people the waste of time and diary space spent discussing me; or not, but at least after a while one has to assume it would get kind of stale as they wouldn’t have anything to talk about.
People are strange. It seems there can be no community in which negativity doesn’t sprout up like some kind of weed. The majority of people on my favorites list are healthy people who, even when they go through some very hard things in their lives, are reaching toward the light, toward making the world a better place.
Anyway … it’s sort of a shame that I too am wasting time and diary space on this issue, but there you go. Have a grand day. I get to do laundry, of course. My children are taking me to a movie for Mother’s Day. I really am a blessed woman.

This is one of the reasons I’m always on favs only and why I had to leave the diary that I was at for so long. It’s unfortunate that people have nothing better to do with their time than make or try and make other people feel bad.
