Who wants to buy my book? (Edit!)

After numerious edits a re-reads and over two hundred rejection letters… I decided to self publish. Last night, I went to the site that I wanted to publish through (Lulu.com) and posted my novel online for publication. As of midnight last night, ‘The Manifest’ is available for purchase, in hardcover. So check out the following picture:

Looks great, eh?

If you want to purchase a copy (and yeah, I know it’s expensive… but I plan to release a softcover copy next week) feel free to click on this link if you want to read my first official self-publicaion.

No pressure, I just thought I would post this online for those who did read excerpts the year I wrote it and might want to go online to get a copy.

I will post updates on how it does in week one later. For now, even though it’s an online self-publication, it’s better than nothing. I think if marketed the right way, I can generate a lot of sales. We’ll have to sit back and wait to see how that goes.

Hope everyone is having a great weekend and I’ll be around. Until then, take care…

Peter

For fiction? You outta your mind? Video games don’t cost that much!

Dr. Steel: The website wanted to start the price at $50 per copy. I lowered it by tickering with it and taking money out of my own commission. Like I said, I am going to post a softcover release next week that will be around $13. I’m all about choice, and won’t force people to buy the hardcover unless they want to.

That’s Doctor, not Dr., thanks. I was teasing. You may want to relax. Just a little. Noting me was enough, you didn’t have to note yourself too ^_^

Have you considered using createspace? They sell through amazon, I think, and you might have more control over price.

I’d love to read it but think I’ll wait for the soft cover edition.

Here’s hoping someone will buy movie rights…

£15.67 for us Brits… which is still a bit expensive. The blurb sounds fascinating though.

We have finished the book but it still needs editing and stuff. I hope you don’t mind but I would like to follow your diary to see how lulu.com works out for you. any advise to two up and hopefully coming authors? Thank you in advance for any wisdom you wish
