I have been an OD'er since 99. I have met some beautiful people on the old site over the years. I hope to re- acquaint myself with some of them and some new folk as well. The encouragement and support I got from this community in 2002 when I went down the Cancer trail was incredible. It is good to be back.

Above is one of my digital art images.  Something I learned to do whilst in lock-down. I am so proud of how we have handled this virus here in Australia.   We went through major lock downs and I do mean major.  At one stage I was not allowed to travel more than 5 miles from…

Nothing changed for our species and our way of living for centuries.  Yes, through art etc.  But we were still muddling around with horse and cart.  Medieval ways of farming etc. Primitive health ideas and we were always allowing ourselves, mostly through fear, to continually be shaped by some ki...

My heart is filled with gratitude this morning and a profound realization of how God protected me .  I am so grateful for the miracle you performed for me yesterday.  A car traveling at 70 Kilometers, driven by a drug fueled driver slammed into the back of my beautiful blue Mazda.   She was my li...

I have half an hour to spare before our weekly Zoom meeting starts.  These get togethers have been so good for me during our lock-down.    There are regularly 10 of us although all up there are thirteen.   But a couple are still not internet or computer savvy. We pick a theme every week.  This we...

  • Theatre Memoir.1
    November 7, 2020
Joining an acting class was not my idea.  It came from my husband, who thought I should have a hobby. There in our local press was just what was needed.   Only a couple of streets away.  An afternoon class for 10.   So I went along not knowing what to expect. The teacher was an English…
